Houman Agahi

Houman Agahi (Lawyer)

houman@agahilaw.ca

Houman founded Agahi Law in 2012. Prior to going to law school and becoming a lawyer, he was a computer developer and even to date, he enjoys computer programming and working on side projects. As a lawyer, Houman has worked on wide variety of files, from residential real estate to litigation and immigration matters.

When Houman started the firm, he founded it on the principal that treating clients right is as important in practice as having an excellent knowledge of law itself. That philosophy has led itself to the growth of the practice, repeat clients and referrals from existing clients that the office has enjoyed. Houman
also is a firm believer that hiring the right people is of utmost importance in running an office.

When not working at the office or working on one of his side projects, you can find Houman online playing chess (feel free to ask for his user id! And, if you play with him, be nice with him as he seems stuck on his
current rating), spending time with his family, hiking and travelling. Houman also speaks Persian (/Farsi).
